is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party and a member of the lower house. He was the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry from 2006 to 2008. He also served as Minister of State in charge of Administrative Reform in the Cabinet of former Prime Minister Tarō Asō.
